Balance

Updated: Nov 16, 2021

Going through some old papers... I have just come across a text I wrote in 2001... I was visiting an old friend in the Pyrenees... and on the morning of my departure... sitting on the porch of the house.... looking out over the mountains... I quickly scribbled a farewell note for her daughter which was not there to say "bye bye"...

Today I share this poem with you....

But you must be aware that the translation no longer takes into account rhyming verses that are in the French version...

Balance

Yesterday's child, now today's girl, sails towards the woman of tomorrow,

gathering the threads of life to lead to the final bouquet,

a synthesis of perceptions and emotions dependent on this time,

which only perceived in the present,

will provide the energy necessary for this evolution.

The balance of the senses and the osmosis of the self with the universe

will only mature under the observance of the signs hidden by the walls of the ego.

Live each moment, fully, as if it were the last,

Sail with detachment and see you soon,

Girl, Young Girl or Woman

2001 - Pyrénées - Valérie

An anticipation of what I was to discover later through Kum Nye Meditation and Yoga ;-)
